SciFest STEM Champions 2011 - 2020

Since 2011 the overall winner/s of SciFest represent Ireland at the following year's Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), a one-week STEM fair, held annually since 1950 in the USA. At Regeneron ISEF some 1800 students from over 420 affiliated science fairs in approximately 80 countries, regions and territories compete for a range of prizes. Since first participating in 2011 SciFest students have won a total of 13 major awards at ISEF.

Broadcom MASTERS International Program Award Winners

Attendance at the Broadcom MASTERS International Program is an experiential award for top delegates from middle school science fairs around the world. The delegates represent approximately 25 countries and the programme consists of a series of educational activities, including a visit to the ISEF competition.

Boston Scientific Medical Devices Grand Award Winners

Boston Scientific joined SciFest as a project partner in 2014. Each year a panel of judges from Boston Scientific selects a number of projects from the 16 regional Boston Scientific Medical Devices Award winners to compete at the National Final for the Boston Scientific Medical Devices Grand Award.

Global Youth Science and Technology Bowl (GYSTB) Participants

International Environment & Sustainability Project Olympiad (INESPO) Participants
INESPO was an international environmental solutions STEM competition for second-level students. In 2015 it took place in Amsterdam and in 2016 in Utrecht. More than 50 countries participated each year and in the two years that SciFest students were involved they won a First Place Award and a Second Place Award.
